COURSES AND DATES OF THE PROGRAMME IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND

OPUS GENERAL ENGLISH

Improve your English skills in speaking, listening, writing and reading, enrich your vocabulary by learning words necessary at work, and gain experience in customer service working part-time abroad. 

Duration of the programme: 5, 6 or 9 months, students learn English 3 hours every day, in the morning or in the afternoon, and work in the same time.

required age: 18-30 years 

required level of English: at least lower - intermediate, good spoken English, IELTS 5.0 for New Zealand

English lessons per week: 15 lessons in England and Ireland or 21 lessons in Australia and New Zealand

dates of the start: 7 January, 24 March*, 14 April, 23 June, 29 August, 20 October* 2008

*These dates are not available for programmes lasting 9 months in Australia and New Zealand.


OPUS SPECIAL PROGRAMME

Learn English in General English Programme at least 6 weeks or choose the preparation for IELTS or Cambridge Examination, 
then start working. Programme available in Great Britain and Ireland for persons having EU passport. 

duration of the programme: minimum 6 weeks for General English, 10 weeks for IELTS or 12 weeks preparation for Cambridge Examination + work

available in: London, Edynburg, Oxford, Dublin

required age: 18-30 years 

required level of English: at least lower-intermediate, good spoken English

lessons of English per week: Vacation English or Cambridge - 15 hours/ week, Intensive English (additional Business English available for every city) or IELTS - 21 hours per week

EARNINGS

You may work in Australia and New Zealand in the OPUS programme. The students may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester and up to 40 hours a week during holidays. Those who have holiday visa with work permission can work as many hours as they wish.  

If you take into account the number of hours that you are allowed to work and the minimal quote you will see that the earnings cover the costs of the study. You just need to remember about the costs of accommodation and pocket money.
