All types of such houses are fully equipped with the kitchen, bathroom, telephone and TV set. Refrigerator and washing machine are at students disposal. This week bedclothes and towels will be changed.
Such type of accommodation assures  more independence and responsibility than living with the host family. Student will be given keys to a house and will be responsible for it.
Students should not invite any guests without asking for permission. Putting guests for a night is allowed only with the owner of the house'  permission and with additional payment.
The owner will change bedclothes and towels once a week. Whereas students are asked to keep the house clean and leave bathroom tidy for other room-mates.
Students buy food by themselves and cook as well as are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean.

General rules

-Students are obliged to behave according to generally accepted rules of  social cohabitation
-Students should keep their place of accommodation clean
-If it happens that student causes any damage he will be expected to compensate for it
-Place of accommodation is booked for student's own use and only he can live there
-Putting guests for a night is allowed only with the owner's permission. If student's guests decide to stay longer than for one night it is possible only with  additional payment.

For people who want an absolute independence school offers bachelor apartments or small apartments for 1 or 2 people. The apartments are kit out with the  equipment neccessary to cook, bathroom, telephone, TV set and washing machine. Bedclothes and towels are also provided.

3. Hotel residence
There is also a possibility of living in a hotel residence. School books the rooms in four star hotel offering single  residences or double residences with bathroom, equipment neccessary to cook, telephone, TV set and air-conditioning. The residence is located near the centre of Milan, that is 15 minutes by tram from school. This type of  accommodation is recommended to people coming to Milan for a short period of time from 1 to 2 weeks. School offers three or four star hotel located  near the school. Price of accommodation in hotel residence  includes breakfast.

4. Living with Italian host family
Linguaviva also offers an accommodation with Italian family usually consisting of a couple or a person raising one or two children alone. The advantage of this type of accommodation is an opportunity to speak in Italian language also after lessons, at home in everyday situations
