LAL Durban 2008                                                                                     The school is located by Florida Road in the centre of the fashionable Musgrave district, in which many boutiques, cafes, shopping malls, restaurants, bars and clubs are situated. Such a convenient location draws many students. The school is only a few minutes away from the Musgrave Centre - a leisure centre and the city centre.

Courses
T
he LAL school offers high standards in all of its schools all over the world. Durban offers a wide choice of courses for adults and teenagers.  
The price of the course includes: tuition fees, registration fee, a course graduation certificate. Courses start every Monday and last a minimum of 2 weeks. 1 class = 50 minutes. The maximum group size is 10 people, the participants' minimum age is 16.

Especially for adolescents, summer English courses have been created. The materials are tailored to the participants' level, to ensure effective and pleasurable learning. The programme comprises 20 classes a week. This includes conversations, listening activities and grammar, as well as writing. Every day, extracurricular classes are organized, also at the weekends. The students are under 24-hour supervision in the residences near the school and on its grounds. The course price includes: tuition fees, learning materials, registration fee, certificate of course graduation, accommodation in a boarding school in triple or quad rooms, transfer from and to the airport, full board and extracurricular activities. Every week two half-day trips and one full day trip are organized.

Accommodation

Student residences are located by the Florida Road. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the vicinity. The residences situated near the beaches and the restaurants offer single, double and triple rooms with a separate bathroom. Adult participants of the courses are free to organize their free time and enjoy the company of other students from the LAL school. Underage students are provided 24-hour care. Both in Cape Town and in Durban the school can accommodate the students with carefully chosen families, about 30 minutes from school by bus.

Transfer
Transfer from the airport is included in the price of accommodation. The persons who have booked only the course without accommodation have to pay for the transfer: 20 € one way or 40 € both ways

*If individual classes are booked as a separate course and not as an addition to a group course, an additional fee of 35 € is charged.

ACCOMMODATION

The price of accommodation includes: breakfasts, transfer from and to the airport, accommodation with a family includes 2 meals a day. The first week of accommodation is 6 nights, each subsequent is 7 nights.

Accommodation prices in 4 and 5 star hotels are available on demand.

In the season (01 January - 29 February and 01 July - 12 August) double rooms and quads are not available and an additional charge of 14 euro a week should be added to single room prices.

How do you become a student in Durbanie?
All formalities connected with your stay, booking, travel, etc. can be arranged in person or via post with "LEXIS" College of Foreign Languages or with our Agent. After choosing the type of course, accommodation and other services you fill in the enrolment form, sign and agreement and transfer the due amount of money to our "LEXIS" bank account. You send the enrolment form, one copy of the agreement and a receipt confirming the money transfer by post or fax, so that we receive it at least two weeks before the beginning of the courses (applicants from cities other than Warsaw contact an agent).

Before departure you receive from us:
· the confirmation of enrolment on the course with an appropriate letter for the British customs officers, so that you do not have any problems with crossing the border,
· an airplane ticket - if you travel from Warsaw (persons travelling from cites other than Warsaw contact an Agent),
· confirmation of accommodation booking together with the address, the telephone and a short characteristics of the host family,
· an invoice for the services ordered.
